Domaine de la Belle

Domaine de la Belle is a small vineyard that belongs to the Côtes de Duras appellation, neighbouring those of Bordeaux and Bergerac.

When Delphine and Gilles Vazeux decided to establish the Domaine de la Belle in 2002 it was an ambitious project.

Gilles was a doctor in biology and with his innovative and intuitive research faculties he applied his skills to his vineyard both in integrated winegrowing and in vinification. They adapted their production to their terroir, in all earnest, following their ethics, and searching for the best blends of grape varieties.

They succeeded in producing the organically farmed wine they wanted, with a constant quality and flavour and faithful to their aspirations. It is an unusual wine reflecting the winemakers. It stands out in the balance between fruitiness and freshness on the one hand and roundness and strength on the other.
